BRH: Week 2 Sessio 3

Run 2 minutes. Walk 2 minutes. Repeat 10 times.

Time: 45:00
Distance: 3.57

Wow. This was hard. I was tight from last night despite stretching. This was my first longer run without Bentley. What a difference not having him pull on my left side made! I felt like I could actually control my movements. It was a little harder to push hard all the way through the workout without him pulling me along. He was upset with me when I got home....he'll get over it.

Rest day tomorrow. Everything from the hip down on my left side felt tight. After 4 sets I felt dull stabbing pains on the front of my hip, and just to the inside of my ankle. I'm going to stretch everything out and take a break tomorrow. No staff meeting on Monday, so I should be able to get a good start on Week 3.

PS....I want to start telling everyone about my running playlist. I will start with my #1 Kick-Ass motivation song. Now, you've seen my picture, I'm cute. My favorite band in the whole world is Sister Hazel.

All that said...my favorite running song is....Remember the Name by Fort Minor.

"10% Luck, 20% Skill, 15% Concentrated power of will, 5% pleasure, 50% pain and 100% reason to remember the name."

It's not as hard-core as I think it is, but I can't help but knuckle down and run harder when I hear it. :)
