Just so you know what I'm dealing with today, here's the forecast:
morning will give way to snow showers this afternoon. Morning high of 32F with temps falling to near 20F. Winds WNW at 25 to 35 mph. Snow accumulating 1 to 3 inches. Winds could occasionally gust over 50 mph.
Oh...and here's tomorrow's forecast:
Windy. Mostly cloudy skies will become partly cloudy in the afternoon. Very cold. Wind chills approaching -20F. High around 10F. Winds WSW at 20 to 30 mph.
Wind chill of -20F!!!! I am not ready for it to be this cold so soon! But I guess that's what you get when you live in Northern Illinois. I'll post pictures of the almost 12 inches of snow covering my world right now when I can drag myself out of bed and out into the snow to take them.
If they ever plow my neighborhood, I'll get in workout 5.2 of the running program. But I can hardly walk Bentley in my boots, so there's no way I'm going to run in them :)
Here are those pictures:
Yay for no school, boo for -20 wind chill. Have fun!
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful!! I am jealous of your snow day!
